Eligibility criteria for Candidates
Applicants must satisfy the eligibility norms prescribed under the Apprentices Act, 1961 and IPRC guidelines as on 20 December 2025.
Age Conditions/ Age Limit is as follows
- For Graduate Apprentice (Engineering & Non-Engineering) the maximum age is 28 years
- For Technician Apprentice the maximum age is 35 years
Age Relaxation as per the norms of government of India
- For Schedule Castes (SC)/ Schedule Tribes (ST) it is 5 years
- For Other Backward Classes (OBC) it is 3 yrs
- For PwD candidates it is as per Government of India rules
Educational Qualification/ Educational Requirement
1. For Graduate Apprentice (Engineering) the candidate should have a degree in BE / B.Tech with minimum 65% marks or CGPA 6.84/10
2. For Graduate Apprentice (Non-Engineering) the candidate should have a degree in BA / B.Sc / B.Com with minimum 60% marks or CGPA 6.32/10
3. For Technician Apprentice the candidate should have completed Diploma in Engineering with First Class
Degrees and diplomas must be obtained from AICTE or UGC-approved institutions.
